UAV eBee for aerial photogrammetry                                                              

eBee is a fixed-wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle that, through its own artificial intelligence, is capable of fully autonomous flights. The eBee can be equipped with different types of optical sensors capable of capturing visible or infrared images.

The eBee is produced by the Swiss company SenseFly and was acquired by the geoLAB – Laboratory of Forest Geomatics at the Department of Management of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Systems of the University of Florence within the European project FRESh LIFE “Demonstrating Remote Sensing Integration in sustainable forest management “.

EBee images are used for 3D reconstruction of natural environments using Structure From Motion photogrammetric techniques.
