Robotics, science and technology can also inspire a fashion collection. “Fashion Forward – Waiting for the Robotics Atelier” is a project that starts from the idea, design and selection of materials and accessories and arrives at creations that express key factors such as the future, robotics, technology and innovation.
During the Festival you will be able to visit the project stand where models will wear the clothes from the “Fashion Forward” collection.. The creative project has been realised by the students on the Modartech Fashion Design Course, drawing inspiration from the Robotics Atelier in Pontedera (Italy), a structure which will be built in Pontedera and which will consolidate the city’s position as a place of innovation, design and culture. The project has already been successfully delivered on several occasions: Fashion Show Modartech (June 2015 – Pontedera Museo Piaggio); Milano Moda Graduate (July 2015 – Milano Triennale); Valdera Expo 2015 (September 2015 – Milano Expo); Creactivity (November 2015 – Pontedera Museo Piaggio); I Fatti Vostri RAI 2 (January 2016 – Roma).
The exhibition opens on Friday 8th, Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September from 10.30 to 18.30 in the main hall of the Stazione Leopolda
